Settings

The Settings page can be found in the menu bar. The page shows you some settings that are used in Center of Gravity Navigator. It also contains some Subpages.

Primary Distribution Cost

Here you can see the primary distribution Cost parameter that is used in the center of gravity calculations. You can change this parameter to represent your primary distribution cost. When you hover over the value field, you can see the unit of this parameter (cost-unit/THU/distance-unit). Please note that changes to this setting are not stored (yet).

Secondary Distribution Cost

Here you can see the secondary distribution Cost parameter that is used in the center of gravity calculations. You can change this parameter to represent your secondary distribution cost. When you hover over the value field, you can see the unit of this parameter (cost-unit/THU/distance-unit). Please note that changes to this setting are not stored (yet).

DC Running Cost

Here you can see the DC Running Cost parameter that is used in the center of gravity calculations. You can change this parameter to represent your DC running Cost. When you hover over the value field, you can see the unit of this parameter (cost-unit/period). For the Center of Gravity Navigator, a period is 1 year. Please note that changes to this setting are not stored (yet), but when exporting the results to the database (to use in Network Design Navigator), the DC Running Cost value is used as default Fixed Cost value.

Transportation Speed

Here you can see the Transportation Speed parameter that is used in the center of gravity calculations. You can change this parameter to represent your average transportation speed. When you hover over the value field, you can see the unit of this parameter (distance-unit/hour). Please note that changes to this setting are not stored (yet).

Subpages

Configuration

Load a configuration that you created with Data Navigator Wizard.

  1. Select a configuration by checking the checkbox in the Selected column.
  2. Click Load Selected to confirm your selection.
  3. Click Load Dataset to continue to the Dataset page.

Dataset

Load a dataset that you imported with Data Navigator.

If you need to change your configuration, go to Menu > Settings > Configuration to start over.

Export Results

Here you can export your results to the database, to use as input for Network Design Navigator.

Debug Export

On this page you can download a case file of your current data or a combination of configuration and dataset as they are stored in the database. The case file can then be used for debugging.
