Location related sheets

This section contains information on locations involved in the optimization, including how these locations are grouped and their period-specific and product-specific data.

Locations

Purpose: List all locations relevant to the optimization.
Instructions: Enter details for each location you want to use in the model, you should define at least one of the following two options to be able to visualize locations on map: 1. Longitude and Latitude 2. Street/City/Postal Code/State/Country/Country Code if you want to use geocoding

Location Groups

Purpose: For each location, you can determine which group it belongs to.
Instructions: Assign locations to their respective groups by filling in the Location column with the appropriate group and entering the location that belongs to that group in the Sublocation column. Each sublocation must be in a different row and the Active column must be set to 1.

Location Period

Purpose: Define period-specific settings for locations.
Instructions: Enter data that varies by location and period, like: 1. Force Open/Close 2. Fixed Cost 3. Dispatch from Warehouse 4. Receive into Warehouse 5. Custom Objectives Costs

Location Product

Purpose: Specify product and period-specific settings for locations.
Instructions: Enter data that varies by location period and product, like: 1. Rate Card Drop Size 2. Maximum number of Source Locations 3. Maximum number of Destination Locations 4. Minimum number of Open Locations 5. Maximum number of Open Locations
