Example Commands
The examples below show how to ask SENSAI Pro to perform warehouse/transport management tasks and run optimizations. To access SENSAI Pro functionality, you need to switch to Command mode. If under “Explain” mode, SENSAI will attempt to answer based on its knowledge of SC Navigator but will not perform any actions.
Warehouse Creation
Create new warehouses through natural language commands:
“Create a new warehouse similar to [existing warehouse]”
“Add a warehouse with [specific attributes]”
“Create a new location in [city/country] for a warehouse”
Warehouse Attribute Updates
Modify warehouse properties, undo a previous change, or list all changes made:
“Update the capacity of [warehouse] to [value]”
“Set the fixed cost of [warehouse] to [value]”
“Close [warehouse] in [period]”
“Force open [warehouse]”
Transport Attribute Updates
Manage transport lanes and costs:
“Increase transport cost by 5% for LTL lanes in Germany”
“Disable transport lanes where cost exceeds 200 EUR per ton”
“What are the transport lanes from [warehouse] to [location]?”
“Update the transport cost for [lane] to [value]”
Note
SENSAI Pro includes change management features:
Undo: An “Undo” button appears after each update, allowing you to revert changes immediately
Track Changes: Ask “List all changes you have made so far” to review all modifications in your current session
Information Retrieval
Query warehouse data:
“Show me the attributes of [warehouse]”
“What is the capacity of [warehouse]?”
“Display warehouse product information for [warehouse]”
“List all warehouses in [location/country]”
“List all changes you have made so far”
Query transport and location information:
“Which warehouses are in Italy?”
“Which warehouse is closest to Lisbon?”
“Show me all transport lanes using [mode]”
Running Optimizations
Manage ad-hoc and demand scenarios:
“Run the optimization model”
“Optimize the current scenario”
“Run optimization with demand adjustments of -5%, 5%, and 10%”
Scenario Comparison
SENSAI Pro allows you to compare multiple scenarios directly within SC Navigator. When you ask SENSAI to compare scenarios, you don’t need to write complex queries or export data. You can either explicitly name the scenarios you want to compare or simply ask to compare them if the scenarios are already loaded which can be done on the Results Data page. SENSAI will automatically identify the active scenarios and use these scenarios for the comparison. The examples below show how to ask SENSAI Pro to perform scenario comparisons. To access SENSAI Pro scenario comparison functionality, you need to switch to Compare mode. A basic textual comparison can also be obtained in the Command mode.
Global KPI and Summaries
Use these questions when you want to understand the overall performance and key metrics of your scenarios to get a quick overview of the differences and trade-offs between them. SENSAI will look at total costs, profits, revenue, volume, and emissions. Example questions include:
“Compare the total costs, revenues, profits, volumes, and emissions across the scenarios.”
“Which scenario has the lowest total cost? Which has the highest profit?”
“Summarize the key differences in KPIs between the scenarios.”
“How did the Warehouse Fixed costs change globally between each scenarios?”
Warehouse Usage and Customer Serving
Use these questions when you want to understand how specific warehouses are being utilized across scenarios and which customers are being served by which warehouses. This can help you identify shifts in warehouse usage, changes in customer-warehouse relationships. Example questions include:
“Compare my scenarios based on the warehouse usage”
“Which warehouse serves C4 in each scenarios”
“Which warehouse serves C3 in each scenarios”
“Which warehouse generates the highest E2E volume in each scenario?”
Warehouse Analysis
Use these questions when you want to understand how warehouse-level results differ between scenarios.
SENSAI can compare warehouse result data such as:
Warehouse volume
Warehouse capacity
Warehouse fixed and variable costs
Warehouse utilization
Warehouse results by warehouse, location, step, and period
Example questions include:
“Compare warehouse volume by warehouse across the scenarios.”
“Which warehouse has the highest volume in each scenario?”
“Compare max capacity by warehouse and period.”
“Show warehouse utilization by warehouse and period.”
“Which warehouses changed the most in volume between the scenarios?”
“Compare max capacity by warehouse, product, and period.”
Cost Component and Profitability Breakdowns
Use these questions when you want to understand the cost structure and profitability of specific warehouses, customers, or transport lanes across scenarios. This can help you identify which elements are driving costs or profits and how they differ between scenarios. Example questions include:
“Which customer has the highest cost”
“Which is the most expensive cost component?”
“What is the total End-to-End supply chain cost for customer C4 in each scenarios”
“Which product has the highest unit cost in scenarios”
“Which is our least profitable product in scenarios”
Transportation and Lane Analysis
Use these questions when you want to analyze the transportation aspect of your supply chain across scenarios. Example questions include:
“Which transport lane has the highest cost in each scenario?”
“List all transportation that originated from WH1 in each scenario.”
“What is the most expensive shipping lane for customer C3 across the scenarios?”
“Compare primary transport cost by supplier.”
“Compare secondary transport volume by customer.”
“Which secondary transport lanes changed the most in volume?”
“Compare direct transport cost by supplier and customer.”
Identifying Top Differences
Use these questions when you want to quickly identify the most significant differences between your scenarios in terms of costs, profits, or other key metrics. This can help you focus on the most impactful changes and understand the main drivers of performance differences. Example questions include:
“What are the top 3 differences between the scenarios in terms of costs and profits?”
“Which scenario has the highest increase in costs compared to the others?”
“Where do the biggest savings come from in the second scenario compared to the base?”
“Which warehouses changed the most between the scenarios?”
“Which transport lanes explain the increase in primary transport cost?”
Limitations
SENSAI Pro has the following limitations:
Warehouse and Transport Operations Only SENSAI Pro action execution is currently limited to warehouse and transport-related operations. You cannot execute actions for customers, production facilities, suppliers, or other supply chain elements. Functionality is being released in phases to ensure stability and gather focused feedback.
Ad-Hoc Scenarios Only There is currently no integration with Scenario Navigator for creating or managing scenarios and network scenarios.
Feedback and Support
Your feedback is critical to the success and future direction of SENSAI Pro. Your input helps us verify that functionality works as expected, assess whether SENSAI Pro reduces user effort, and prioritize expansion to other supply chain elements.
